2019 + 2020 Wedding Season!

I'm so excited to announce that I'm taking on more weddings in the coming seasons! Moody, creative weddings are my favorite. I love non-traditional weddings and magazine worthy weddings! I love love and love stories - I want to tell everyone's in my own unique way!

I was lucky enough to get started second shooting a wedding with one of my photography idols, Stephen Ramsden of Hinterland Stills out of Seattle (Formerly FotoEnvy out of Rockford, IL). It was a dream affair with a beautiful

bride, a handsome groom, wonderful attitudes and personalities and the perfect details! My nerves were sky high, but I was ready, and though it was a beautiful affair and I'm thrilled with the photos I took, I feel I truly learned so much, not just from the experience, but from Stephen as well, who gave excellent tips throughout the day!

I got a chance to second shoot under Miss Kayla Rae of Kayla Rae Photography (Poplar Grove, IL) and that wedding posed a different atmosphere that was just as fun! More of a party atmosphere, everyone was amped up and ready to go and brought high energy the entire night! We captured some beautiful photos amidst a beautiful love story happening right in front of our eyes and like before, I learned so much about the professional side of photography from Kayla and gained more knowledge about shooting weddings in general.

Most recently, I shot my first solo wedding and though I was nervous, I was also so excited and honored to have been chosen to capture their special day! Tom + Jolene got married at a lovely lakeside park behind Jolene's mother's home in Rockford, IL on September 29, 2018 and it was a simple,

elegant affair that matched Tom and Jolene's love story, and going through the photos has brought me every emotion possible. I cannot wait to deliver their special love story!

I guess what I'm trying to say is -- I love love. I have always been in love with love since my first Disney movie and I've always loved weddings, so naturally, this seems like the perfect path for me to take as a creative professional.
