Brian + Dalia had a gorgeous, classy event to celebrate the joining of their families! I was honored and lucky enough to be chosen as their wedding photographer and couldn't be happier with the photos and the experience! They were so much fun to get to know and share their special day with! I especially loved the joining together of their families! So many sons!

Brian + Dalia have a special connection that you can just see and feel. She is the pull, he is the push, and their marriage was representative of that! Check out some of these gorgeous images I got from their ceremony and venue at Hoffman House, Rockford, IL! Thanks to my fabulous second shooter, Kristen of www.kkp815photography.com for helping me out and being one of my photo besties! This was a fabulous event and I can't wait to shoot more weddings at the Hoffman House! Enjoy their love story, starting with their engagement photos and moving through their entire wedding! :)

Consent is a hot topic lately with all of this sexual abuse coming to light in Hollywood and otherwise. Consent seems to be something many people of our culture just don't understand, or maybe they simply don't care? But your body is your own and no one is entitled to it without your consent. This means so much -- Men leering at young women wearing "stylish" clothing that is far too revealing -- This is gross behavior. The nasty comments, the sickening dick pics, everything a young woman has gone through in this day and age when she posts a photo wearing a bikini or a tight dress -- It takes no provocation for women to receive this treatment. It's very sad indeed this is the society we live in and it's normalized to treat women this way. We are more than sexual gratification for men. This photoshoot with Alyxandria Fandel and Raven Fandel of Rockford, IL really helps to showcase how we feel about this sexualization we receive from men when we do not want it.

This is THE fashion guide! One of the most common questions I get asked as a photographer is "What do I wear?!" and trying to describe it just doesn't come easily! Upt to this point I've used pinterest boards for reference but I realize they might not suit everyone's style or size so I've tried to come up with a comprehensive guide of fashion choices that will not only photograph well, but can still be functional pieces of your wardrobe (okay, most, haha!) I simply couldn't resist throwing in some drama!

Anyway, I wanted to make this as easy as possible for my clients - We're all busy people right? So I've listed these items here and all you have to do is click and buy! No time wasted here -- Planning your photoshoot shouldn't be stressful, it should be exciting, fun, and at the end of it, you should look back on these photos with pride and love in your heart! It's my goal to make sure that happens and helping you on the way to great fashion choices is a big step in the right direction! Colors should coordinate and compliment each other as well as the location you'll be shot at! We also want to try to stay away from a lot of busy prints -- One plaid is usually okay, etc. If shooting in colder weather, look for an appropriate coat that will photograph well in a solid color that compliments your figure and fits correctly and don't be afraid to embellish with hats, gloves, scarves, blankets -- The more of your personality you can inject the better! These little details will truly make for fond memories!

I also want to say that I am definitely able to help on a personal basis as well, if we've booked a shoot together! I'd be happy to search out items I think would be suitable for you specifically and send you links to them if you are really struggling with choices! Mention this to me when you book your shoot and we will discuss further!

In the mean time, if you'd like to check out the fashion guide, head over to it, right here on my website!
